Ingredients:
2 sticks butter1½ C. powdered sugar, sifted1 egg1 t. vanilla2½ C. flour1 T. baking soda1 t. cream of tarter¼ t. salt
Directions:
- Cream butter and then add sugar a little bit at a time. Mixture will get very fluffy.
- Add egg and beat well.
- Add vanilla.
- Add sifted dry ingredients and mix well.
- Chill.
- Preheat oven to 400° F.
- Roll to ⅛-inch thickness and cut out.
- Bake 6 minutes.
